Covington Latin School, an accelerated Catholic college-prep high school, is hosting their annual Open House for highly motivated and talented 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th grade students on Sunday, February 14^th with sessions at 2:00 and 3:00 P.M. followed by student led tours and refreshments. DAY OF RECOLLECTION
The Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Association will host a Day of Recollection on Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Sisters of Notre Dame Provincial House, 1601 Dixie Highway. Guest Speaker is author, speaker, retreat and parish mission director, Sr. Melanie Swoboda, SND. The day will include retreat conferences, reflection time, lunch, and opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Mass and Distribution of Ashes. Cost for the day is $20.00. Adorers Needed at St. Elizabeth North Chapel – We are still in need of Adorers for Perpetual Adoration at St. Elizabeth North Chapel. I am hopeful that you will prayerfully consider donating one hour of your time each week so that all hours will be covered. God will richly bless you for spending this time with Him – especially during the upcoming Lenten Season. Safety provisions including parking at the entrance of the building and escort to the chapel by security guard are available. (Note, consider volunteering at St. Elizabeth Chapel only if you are unable to attend the Adoration at your own parish or if you want to do more than one hour of Adoration.)
