ST. HENRY CHURCH PRESENTS
“FINDING THE FULLNESS OF FAITH”
WITH FR. DWIGHT LONGENECKER
Fr. Dwight Longenecker, frequent contributor to the “Sonrise Morning Show” on Sacred Heart Radio and EWTN, will be leading a parish mission at St. Henry Church, Elsmere, for three nights on October 20, 21 and 22 beginning at 7:00 p.m. each evening. On the first night, he will tell his conversion story – how he went from being a fundamentalist Baptist to being a minister in the Church of England, and finally came home to the Catholic Church. On Tuesday evening, Fr. Longenecker will discuss twelve “ism’s” – American ways of thinking that undermine full practice of our Catholic faith. On Wednesday, he will teach us what to do about the “ism’s.” Fr. Dwight is the parish priest of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Greenville, South Carolina. Come and join us to hear this dynamic, encouraging, enlightening, and entertaining speaker. A freewill offering will be accepted each evening. Fr. Longenecker has written several books, which will be available for purchase throughout the mission. For additional information, please call 859-727-2035.

YOU can help her AND her baby. Opportunities for Life, is the Kentucky Catholic Church’s ministry to abortion-vulnerable women and men. Volunteers offer hope and resources to callers who find the courage to seek our help. Helpline volunteers answer the helpline from their homes at times that are convenient for them. OFL will be offering training workshops in your Diocese to prepare volunteers for service in this life affirming ministry. For more information contact OFL at 1-888-496-3638.
Volunteers are needed for direct service to children to share in family life activities. The DCCH Center for Children and Families has opportunities for you to share “home life” with the children in Residential as a surrogate family or mentor. You can share your time, personal talents, and life changing experience as wise guides and mentors to children in need. You can also volunteer to do a one-day group project such as painting, yard work, or you can provide fun activities for Foster Care and Adoption Support Group once a month in the evening.
