YOUNG ADULT EVENTS!
Summer is almost here, and young adults of the diocese are invited to celebrate! Join us on Thursday, May 30 at St. Patrick Parish in Taylor Mill, KY for Mass and a cookout to kick off a summertime series of young adult events. Mass will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. Free food, fellowship and fun will follow. All young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, married or single, are welcome! CROSS THE BRIDGE FOR LIFE
Come celebrate LIFE with others from the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati at the Cross the Bridge for Life on Sunday, June 2nd. Please note NEW TIME – festivities start at 1:30 pm, and the Walk will start at 3:00 pm, beginning at the World Peace Bell in Newport. Thousands of participants are anticipated to converge on the Purple People Bridge for this peaceful, prayerful presence to advocate for the sanctity of human life. Please join us and bring your families. Face painting, music, clowns, free food and new this year additional food vendors will be on site. This is a collaborative event sponsored by the Diocese of Covington, Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and other Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky life affirming organizations. FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI
There will be a Eucharistic procession around the grounds of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption at 2pm on June 2, 2013 on the Feast of Corpus Christi. All priests, deacons, religious and lay faithful of the diocese are invited to participate in this celebration.
In the Eucharist the Lord Jesus is with us always. Through participation in this Eucharistic procession we have the opportunity to give witness to belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Please consider participating.
This year we will celebrate this occasion with an emphasis of prayer for religious freedom and freedom of conscience for citizens of our country. Fr. Matt Cushing will be delivering the homily.
REGIONAL PRO-LIFE MASS
The Regional Pro-Life Mass will be held on Monday, June 3 at St. Williams, Williamstown. Please join Bishop Foys and Fr. Joshua Lange as they celebrate this mass dedicated to LIFE. The mass is at 7:00pm with a reception following. All are welcome!

THE SERRA CLUB FOR VOCATIONS
Members of the Serra Club for Vocations are selling ticket vouchers to the Florence Freedom game on Wednesday, June 5, to assist with the promotion of religious vocations. Throwing out the honorary first pitches will be Sr. Cathy Bauer, OSB, Fr. Joe Gallenstein of St. Mary Parish and Fr. Nick Rottman of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Ticket vouchers are $10, and can be purchased through the Diocesan Stewardship Office or from individual Serra Club members. BUS TRIP TO GETHSEMANI & BARDSTOWN
The Cathedral is planning a bus trip to Gethsemani and Bardstown, KY on Saturday, June 8th. We will leave the Cathedral/ Latin School Parking Lot at 8:00 a.m. and return at 7:30 p.m. If interested in going with us, please call St. Barbara at 431-2600 for information and reservations.
