ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
One of our St. Vincent de Paul clients is in need of a refrigerator and a electric dryer if anyone has one or knows of someone that has one and is wanting to find a home for it. If you have one or both available, please call Sheila Overley at 859-581-3313. Thank you
SCHOOL NEWS/PENNY WAR!
During Lent, St. Anthony School students will be holding a Penny War – every penny is a positive point, silver and paper are negative points! All proceeds collected will benefit both the residents at Rosedale Green in Latonia AND the children at St. Kizito Primary School in Uganda. If you would like to help us reach our goal of $250.00, please contact the school at 859-431-5987 or drop your donation in the collection basket in an envelope marked “2025 St. Anthony Penny War.” Thanks for your support!!!
FAST AND ABSTINENCE
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence. For members of the Latin Catholic Church, the norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Latin Catholic Church from age 14 onwards.

Online Giving
Online giving is live!
Thank you for your gifts of time, talent and treasure.
Parishioners and friends of St. Anthony can donate through the website. No need to write checks; you can just sign up and have your contribution withdrawn from your bank or credit card weekly or monthly, whichever you prefer. This also enables you to support your parish even when you are away.
The online giving tab on St. Anthony’s website includes all Second Collections throughout the year. Clicking on “Second Collections” opens a new window. This window includes all Holy Days, Diocesan collections, and donations for flowers at Christmas and Easter. When you donate online through Second Collections the donation amount will be processed on the date listed next to the collection.
The process is simple:
1. Click the blue Donate Now button.
2. Choose Sunday Offertory or Saint Vincent de Paul fund or Second Collection.
3. Enter your payment information.
4. Submit! You will receive an email receipt.

“Zeal for your House will consume me” John 2:17
The DPAA is an eloquent expression of our love for God and our stewardship of His gifts. May God bless you for your generosity. If you haven’t made your gift, please do so today, or drop it in the offertory basket next weekend.
Dear St. Anthony Parishioners:
I would like to thank you for your generous donation to the DPAA. All monies over the goal will be put toward the Church Renovation Fund. Renovating St. Anthony is a goal that I wish to complete while I am pastor.
God bless, Fr. Ivan
