NEW LIGHTS!!
On Saturday, December 7, the Saint Pius Parish men’s service group along with members of the St. Anthony men’s prayer group, four master electricians, and Mr. Tom Martin took time from their busy schedules and converted the entire school building to LED lighting. This will achieve significant energy and maintenance savings for St. Anthony for many years to come. Special thanks to Mr. Tom Martin who helped prep and coordinate the project along with Ken Oleynik and Mike Hardig. Participants were: Tom Ruberg, Rafael Torres, Tony Ward, Roger Andrews, Ron Durrett, Doug Ruberg, Greg George, Ken Lonneman, Greg Arlinghaus, Nate Arlinghaus, Brian Fisher, and Tom Ewing. HELP NEEDED - NATIVITY SCENE SET-UP
If you are available and able to help, the Nativity Scene and decorations for Christmas set-up will be Monday, December 23, 2024 after the 8:00 a.m. Mass.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING
“Tis the season!” Come and bring a friend to sing hymns to the elderly and homebound of our parish. It’s a most blessed time for all involved. We will gather amid the Christmas Octave (Sunday, December 29 at 6:00 p.m.) in Fleming Hall to loosen our tongues on a few tunes before carpooling to homes in the surrounding area. After a couple hours of joyful caroling, we return to the parish hall for hot cocoa and refreshments. Dress warmly.

VOCATIONS COORDINATOR
St. Anthony’s Parish Council is seeking a Vocations Coordinator to begin a three-year term, starting this January. The Coordinator is responsible for encouraging holy vocations to the priesthood, consecrated life, and sacramental marriage within the Church. As a voting member of the Council, the Coordinator shall attend Council meetings on the second Monday of the month, not including summer months.
